FOUR CHANGES
1. The shank should have the scalloped / French-cut gold edge exactly as in the reference photo — the metal between the stones cut away in arches so the edge waves evenly along the stone section.
2. The stones should continue further down both sides than on the drawing, but stop before the bottom. The underside against the palm must be smooth polished metal, no stones and no pattern — so the ring can be sized up later if the finger changes.
3. A low setting. The head and hidden halo should sit as low as possible. This ring will be worn every day, and a high setting gets knocked and eventually sits crooked.
4. The stones must be set securely so nothing works loose or wears flat over the years.
Each diamond over 1 carat is accompanied by an IGI certificate.
