I want the main stud to be just the pear-shaped center diamond by itself, with no halo permanently attached. Then, I would like the diamond halo to be a separate removable piece that slides onto the earring post from the back, before putting on the earring back.
So she could wear it in two different ways:
1. Just the pear-shaped diamond as a simple stud.
2. The pear-shaped diamond with the removable halo around it, so when worn it looks like one complete earring, similar to the photo.
The removable halo should fit very close and perfectly around the pear diamond, so you cannot really tell that they are two separate pieces when she is wearing it. Would it be possible to make it this way
